Real Estate
The majority of Mr. Greenstein's practice
has involved families purchasing and selling their homes. Paul makes
every effort to make these stressful transactions as smooth as possible, anticipating issues and thereby avoiding problems and delays.
Although most closings involve people who are moving locally, coordination
with closings in other states is provided to clients who are relocating
to and from out-of-state involving wire transfers of funds and Powers
of Attorney.
Over the past twenty years, Paul has worked
with several builders and real estate developers, assisting in municipal
applications, condominium and Homeowners' Association filings, and
has represented a number of lenders in residential mortgage loan
closings.
Landlord/Tenant
Representing landlords in residential & commercial
over the past several years has grown into a significant part of
Mr. Greenstein's practice as we move as quickly as possible in preparation,
service and filing of eviction notices. While most cases are in District
Court in Huntington, Paul represent clients with evictions in all
of the districts in western Suffolk county.
Consultation, advice, and assistance is offered
to tenants in
resolution of disputes and explanation of their rights.
Business and Commercial transactions
The challenges of representing clients in
the purchase and sale of businesses requires attention to detail
and the ability to negotiate settlement of contractual issues.
Client delays are avoided by Paul's ability to anticipate problems
in transactions ahead of time.
Mr. Greenstein assists in formations of new corporations and
Limited Liability Companies; partnerships, shareholder, and operating
agreements.
